Presentation

NCI Exmouth Presentation Team were invited to give a talk to a group called “Sidmouth Forum” based in Sidmouth. This group meet monthly for a range of activities and occasionally have guest speakers from local organisations. The group were told about our charity and how our volunteer watchkeepers are an asset of His Majesty’s Coastguard. The PowerPoint presentation was delivered by Hugh S, one of our trainers and supported by John F, one of our Veterans. It was well received with lots of questions about the dangers of the Estuary and the role of our organisation in Search and Rescue.

Thank you for your hospitality and the tea.

A five year service award was given to Chris W,  one of our trainers.

Finally, Fifteen year service awards were presented to Ruth B and Graham N, our Training Officer.

We thank all those watchkeepers for their commitment.

Fundraising at Exmouth RFC

NCI Exmouth were invited along to Exmouth Rugby Football Club for their local derby against Brixham RFC. This gave us a wonderful opportunity to raise some funds,  be part of the local community and raise the profile of our charity outside of the lookout. A great game and win for the home team. Thank you for your support.

Presentation

NCI Exmouth Presentation Team were invited along to the Estuary League of Friends Ladies Group who meet in Topsham at Nancy Potter House community hub. Our team also had the assistance of one of our Veterans John F. The ladies were told about the history of our charity and how our volunteers assist maritime agencies in keeping people safe around the coastline. The group asked lots of questions about how we help with public safety in the Exe Estuary. Thank you for your hospitality, coffee and biscuits!!
