Farewell Yvonne - And Thanks
New Year’s Eve 2018 saw Yvonne Anderton complete her last watch and retire from Exmouth Coastwatch. Yvonne was the longest standing Watchkeeper and has completed 18 years of the 20 years the station has been open. In her time she has supported numerous station managers and committees as secretary and on three occasions she undertook the role of deputy station manager. On her last watch she was presented with a bouquet of flowers and chocolates and at the General Meeting on 16 January she will be presented with her Honorary Life Membership Certificate awarded in recognition of her dedication and support of Exmouth Coastwatch over the 18 years. Yvonne leaves with the ambition to take up another good cause and the best wishes go from everyone in Exmouth Coastwatch.
A Christmas present for Nigel Bovey who has completed his assessment to become our newest watchkeeper, the 11th of the year. Congratulations and welcome to the team.
