The NCI offered assistance to HMCG after comms requesting two local lifeboats in search for missing person, Rescue helicopter also involved.
A Multi agency search involving both Exmouth lifeboats and Sidmouth lifeboat, 2 Coastguard helicopters, Senior Coastguard Officer, Police and Police Drone team, Beer, Exmouth and Paignton Coastguard teams.
NCI used CCTV on the potential search area.
The NCI were contacted by Police with request for recent CCTV footage from start of incident at 02.45.
NCI confirmed to Police and HMCG that no sightings through the previous night/morning on nearest camera footage
While conducting the search, emergency services discovered two people who were stranded on the cliffs at West Down Beacon and winched them to safety.
